Hmm, all drives report 0 bad sectors, and I found this:
L129[20:55:20]
<Michiyo>
`It's counterintuitive but SAS drives do not support
"SMART". SMART is part of the ATA (and thus SATA)
standard, and a version of it was also brought into the NVME
standard. But SCSI (and thus SAS) drives do not have have anything
similar to "SMART attributes" in their protocol standard.
Instead they use a combination of Sense reporting through Key Code
Qualifiers (KCQs) and a variety of mode pages and log pages to
report information about the
L130[20:55:20]
<Michiyo>
drives.`
L131[20:55:24]
<Michiyo>
`As for what to look for in the SAS output, the grown defect list
is similar to the Reallocated Sectors SMART attribute, and you also
want to keep an eye on the uncorrected errors in the error log. If
any of those four items start to creep upwards from 0, you should
consider replacing the disk. Corrected errors are no big deal,
you'll eventually see thousands of those. Hope this helps!`
