L29[03:52:07] <Forecaster> what for?
L30[03:53:21] <Inari> People can get Rooms in this MMO, basically player housing. Each floor has 9 rooms. Theres some 280 or so floors by now. And every monday morning at midnight the floors get shuffled :P Theres a button to go to your room, but others have a hard time finding it. And even you yourself can't quite tell the floor.

L510[14:28:53] <payonel> ah ok
L511[14:28:59] <Michiyo> then dumped with speedtest-cli --list > servers.txt

L513[14:29:12] <payonel> coo
L514[14:29:33] <Michiyo> anyway... dedi, and vm both linux, get roughly the same....

L516[14:29:55] <Michiyo> well, so much better upload anyway

L637[15:08:05] <Michiyo> some of these configs are very fragile.

L652[15:10:26] <payonel> swearing in another language does not make your more fluent, it makes you less
L653[15:10:41] <Michiyo> I'd TOTALLY be down for just plonking down the cash for ANOTHER server... if I hadn't done that x2, at the first of this month..
L654[15:10:54] <Michiyo> and when I did that OVH borked the routing of my IP block.
L655[15:11:29] <payonel> Michiyo: i want to move to a real hostnig service, but the hdd storage size options were too small :(
L656[15:11:46] <payonel> i just want 50 - 100 Mb/s, and 10TB storage
L657[15:11:51] <payonel> :|
L658[15:11:52] <Michiyo> OVH gives me 500GB of backup FTP storage... and this machine has 3x2TB in RAID.. but the effing RAID was misconfigured..

L660[15:12:08] <noob> http://beta.speedtest.net/result/6564169164
L661[15:12:09] <Michiyo> that's A LOT of storage though.

L984[20:54:37] <Michiyo> Oh hey.. there was a sentence here I was like half way through typing when the work internet went out.
L985[20:54:43] <Michiyo> ... gj boss... gj
L986[20:55:24] <Kodos> payonel, is the primary reason for won't fix because 1.7.10 backporting? Or just simply not enough time to fix a minor issue
L987[20:56:01] <payonel> Kodos: superfluous requests i suppose
L988[20:56:04] <payonel> our out of scope
L989[20:58:04] * Mimiru stabs vmware-vdiskmanage or whatever it's actually called

L1001[21:15:07] <Temia> But yeah, I've found even Quassel's protocol doesn't carry much overhead, and that's after reloading the buffer with every session.
L1002[21:15:32] <Mimiru> Gotta figure out how to do this in Java
L1003[21:17:58] <Mimiru> Ugh.. nvm for now..
L1004[21:18:05] <Mimiru> I need to trim these disk images
L1005[21:22:35] <MineRobber9000> S3: 13 milk cartons, she didn't specify that he was to buy a dozen eggs
L1006[21:35:59] <S3> MineRobber9000 IS CORRECT!
L1007[21:53:15] <MineRobber9000> S3: another riddle I know like that is "A programmer's wife tells her husband, "Buy some milk. Oh, and while you're there, buy some bread." He nevers comes back. Why?"
L1008[22:01:19] <Mimiru> while loop, never breaks.

L1019[22:54:14] <ds84182> But now they're poor... on the upside they now have lots of bread!
L1020[22:57:42] <Temia> Sent out to buy milk and eggs, but returned with bread? Sounds like a bug.

L1023[22:59:53] <Temia> Oh wait, missed a new set of instructions.
L1024[23:00:27] * Temia pulls latest commits, goes to try again, realizes she's barred from the store :(
