L35[04:05:24] <Foghrye4> Hello! A problem.
I'm removing Minecraft recipes. When Minecraft load advancements it
results in errors in log. Which is annoying. If I try to replace
recipes instead using domain "minecraft", I will receive
errors in log again. I don't see any events fired by Forge in
`AdvancementManager.reload()` to hook up and remove advancements in
before. Am I missing something?
L36[04:06:45] <ghz|afk> no you are not
missing anything -- removing vanilla recipes doesn't quite work due
to advancements
L37[04:06:55] <ghz|afk> Advancements never
got the "forge treatment"
L38[04:06:57] <Foghrye4> Thank you.
L39[04:07:05] <ghz|afk> so the best
alternative I found

recipes
L41[04:07:17] <ghz|afk> to replace the

L100[10:03:08] <ajb> what did i forget to
call, or do to make the snow go away?
L101[10:03:31] <ajb> it's slowly coming
back by ticks
L103[10:04:38] <ajb> the chunks with no
snow are where EdgeChunk() is true
L104[10:07:35] <ajb> also it seems to be
happening further away from the edge, and in the middle of a
chunk... oh wait, i know what it is
L105[10:13:33] <ajb> hmm now i've got the
opposite problem
L106[10:22:51] <ajb> is there some weird
rule that populate() puts snow on 1/4 of the current chunk and the
chunks next to it?
L107[10:33:33] <ybden> ajb: chunk
population only happens in the middle of 2x2 chunks generated
L109[10:33:47] <ybden> since you're
preventing the other chunks from being generated, then it can't be
decorated there
L110[10:33:49] <ajb> that explains it
then
L111[10:34:24] <ybden> maybe you can
manually force decoration? I'm not really sure though, I've never
done worldgen stuffs before; only know this from vanilla
L112[10:36:13] <ajb> its actually really
weird - if i don't populate any chunks at all then the missing
areas become snowy and the rest is not

L175[17:03:05] <ghz|afk> in fact, it

L251[21:17:34] <Dimmerworld> I am trying

have a world, what blockState are you even trying to get ?

block called solarpanel and inside it has variations: quantum solar
panels, advanced solar panel.. etc etc
L254[21:19:01] <Dimmerworld> on the

L255[21:19:40] <Dimmerworld> I need to get
the data from a enum which stores the information for the solar

L256[21:19:55] <KnightMiner> Ordinastie:
shift in what way? I tried just rotating the min and max U and V

would in a model JSON if you never change the rotation field)
L258[21:20:42] <Ordinastie> Dimmerworld,
so the real question is, how can I get the block instance without a
world
L259[21:20:53] <Ordinastie> should be easy

L260[21:21:04] <Dimmerworld> not when you
are a total noob
L261[21:21:06] <KnightMiner> I ideally
would be able to rotate it just by changing either the UV or the x
and z, as I call this four times for each direction
L262[21:21:24] <Ordinastie> KnightMiner,
think concretly what happens to the UVs when you want them
rotated
L263[21:21:54] <Ordinastie> where each u/U
v/V end up after the rotation
L264[21:22:41] <Ordinastie> Dimmerworld,
as you don't have a context available, you need to access your
instance statically
L265[21:23:14] <Dimmerworld> Ordinastie
could you dumbify that?
L266[21:24:17] <Ordinastie> only by
assuming you have no programming knowledge, but in that case, you
should learn to code before attempting to mod
