L1[00:15:16] <Natesky9> because trains should have frickin' lasers.... wait no that's sharks
L2[00:15:34] <Natesky9> yeah no, I'm lost too
L3[00:15:51] <ElectroBot> that's actually an IC2 Steam boiler
L4[00:15:57] <Natesky9> is it?
L5[00:16:23] <ElectroBot> http://tinyurl.com/y7fmfh7e
L6[00:16:43] <Natesky9> to be fair, those two look almost identical

L10[00:17:28] <ElectroBot> yeah, we changed the recipe to not require items that we couldn't use (no factory module)
L11[00:17:49] <ElectroBot> yeah, we changed the recipe to not require items that we couldn't use (no factory module) and made it fit our pack a bit better as well [Edited]
L12[00:18:30] <Natesky9> the IC2 steam would be much more enjoyable if you didn't have to have a PHD to use it
L13[00:18:51] <Natesky9> by comparison, Thermal's dynamos are so easy that a novice could understand them
L14[00:19:09] <Natesky9> I know, because I was a novice, and thermal was very easy to pick up

L17[01:27:34] <Forecaster> exaggerations aside ic2 does require you to use specific numbers in the boiler for it to work correctly, and those aren't told to you by the game
L18[01:28:13] <Forecaster> once you have them however it's easy
L19[01:28:43] <Kane Hart> Strap Iron Track. With a Steam Engine on it I can walk way faster. Is this intended or could be a bug?
L20[01:29:25] <Kane Hart> I was wanting to use a track that could be quite cheap for a low early game tech. But this is maybe only useful for say within a base or something hehe

L23[08:09:58] <Mr _Railroad> Was just looking at Railcraft 12.0.0 on to see if you'll had gotten in the 90% range yet and look at Quarried Stone recipe too weak #1576 read what was said but it looks like you have to run the mined variant (quarried stone) through the rock crusher (quarried cobblestone) and then it can be smelted into a quarried block . I am still working on building rock crusher so can not say if it works right yet or not
