didn't have actual font or user input though, it wasn't
very practical

L214[02:59:51]

<Thesoulmaster> We had like 4 lines to
deal with each exercise. So...instead, we had to make use of event
listeners
L215[03:00:33]

<Thesoulmaster> This dude is making me
hate the frontend stuff
L216[03:00:40]

<Spider
EveryOS> And you're not able to talk to the
professor's supervisor or anything?
L217[03:01:11]

<Thesoulmaster> Well...i could try but
that would lead to this dude getting even worst
L218[03:01:24]

<Thesoulmaster> Apparently, this is the
result of what happened the prior year
L219[03:01:42]

<Spider
EveryOS> ug
L220[03:01:43]

<Thesoulmaster> Some students made a
complaint so now he got worst
L221[03:01:50]

<Spider
EveryOS> That is corrupt
L222[03:01:55]

<Thesoulmaster> Sort of
L223[03:02:06]

<Thesoulmaster> I'm kind of used to
this hell anyway
L224[03:02:13]

<Thesoulmaster> I'm not a
"lucky" person
L225[03:02:18]

<Spider
EveryOS> ):
L226[03:02:20]

<Thesoulmaster> More like the
opposite
L227[03:02:31]

<Thesoulmaster> To put a small
example
L228[03:02:49]

<Thesoulmaster> People were talking really
good of a teacher of Databases
L229[03:03:08]

<Spider
EveryOS> Ironically, I just had my Databases final today
L230[03:03:22]

<Thesoulmaster> When i got on this grade,
i was happy because i got that teacher...at least, that's what
i thought at first
L231[03:03:42]

<Thesoulmaster> Apparently there are 2
teachers of DB and both are named the same...
L232[03:03:54]

<Spider
EveryOS> what the
L233[03:04:00]

<Thesoulmaster> Guess who is the good one
and which one i got..
L234[03:04:17]

<Spider
EveryOS> That sucks
L235[03:04:35]

<Thesoulmaster> Not to mention, this
sucker give me lessons of JPA this year...
L236[03:04:42]

<Thesoulmaster> Well,
"lessons"
L237[03:04:48]

<Thesoulmaster> If you ask him, he get
mad
L238[03:04:55]

<Thesoulmaster> If you don't he get
mad
L239[03:05:17]

<Thesoulmaster> And he consider that we
should know that already
L240[03:05:37]

<Thesoulmaster> So... It's being a
tough year around here
L241[03:06:02]

<Spider
EveryOS> Well, I hope you get better professors in the future.
How many years do you have left?
L242[03:06:10]

<Thesoulmaster> Just this one
L243[03:06:39]

<Thesoulmaster> And if i repeat, since a
new "law" got applied, i'll get another 3 subjects
next year
L244[03:06:52]

<Thesoulmaster> I really hate this
country...
L245[03:07:07] <Corded> >
<Thesoulmaster> Just this one
L246[03:07:08]

<Spider
EveryOS> I'm also senior year! Though, since the CS
department here requires an internship and I don't have one, I
might need to delay
L247[03:07:14] <Corded> >
<Thesoulmaster> I really hate this country...
L248[03:07:14]

<Spider

L249[03:07:31] <Izzy> Kinda glad I
didn't actually study programming.
L250[03:07:46]

<Thesoulmaster> Spain
L251[03:08:15]

<Thesoulmaster> Well, Izzy, it's not
that bad if you get good or not-devilish teachers
L252[03:08:51]

<Spider
EveryOS> By the way, I have one last project left of mine I
wanted to show, it's the one I've spent most time on and
am proudest of, mind if I show you?
L253[03:08:53] <Izzy> I don't have
the maths background for it anyway. Networking is fun anyway
:3

Amanda curls up in Izzy's lap, passes out
L256[03:09:54] <Amanda> Night girls
L257[03:09:58]

<Thesoulmaster> Maths background? Pal,
it's not that hard. You only require logic. As long as you are
resolutive, you can break down a lot of hard maths into simple
operations and functions
L258[03:10:02] <Izzy> sleeb well
Amanda
L259[03:10:17] <Corded> >

L269[03:12:08] <Corded> >

L277[03:15:54]

cool
L278[03:16:06]

<Renno>
that is both strangely specific and vague at the same time on what
'Orion' was
L279[03:16:57]

<Thesoulmaster> A neural network,
mainly
L280[03:16:58]

<Thesoulmaster> Well, 5 neural networks
linked to eachothers working as one single entity
L281[03:17:34] <Corded> >
<Thesoulmaster> By the way...this looks cool
L282[03:17:34]

<Spider
EveryOS> Thanks! I've been trying to write a browser for
so long lol
L284[03:18:53]

<Thesoulmaster> It was originally intended
to do some self-repairs on a Windows 7 OS, but since it continued
to learn...i decided to keep working on it and eventually got near
what nowadays is a GPT.
L285[03:18:54]

<Thesoulmaster> However, the way Orión
recalls memories and data is quite different
L286[03:19:50]

<Thesoulmaster> I'll try to redo the
same system again with the new AI and hopefully optimize the
execution times
L287[03:20:19]

<Spider

L288[03:20:36] <Corded> > <Spider

<Thesoulmaster> If you are going to do a

selling my fucking spotify playlist to eachother xD
L290[03:21:53] <Izzy> native popover tree

L291[03:21:58] <Corded> >
<Thesoulmaster> If you are going to do a browser, i'll

L292[03:21:58]

<Spider
EveryOS> Well, I'm obviously not going to incorporate any
tracking into my browser lol
L293[03:21:58]

<Spider
EveryOS> But it will be a very long time until I have this even
in a usable state, much less having additional features. Browser
rendering engines take a *long* time to write
L294[03:22:00] <Izzy> having to fight
firefox every six months is tiring
L295[03:23:31] <Corded> > <Izzy>

L296[03:23:31]

<Spider
EveryOS> Tree style tabs? Is that like tab stacks?
L297[03:23:31]

<Spider
EveryOS> Also, my browser uses a custom GUI library, so if you
mean native in terms of using OS rendering, that won't pan
out
L298[03:24:46]

<Thesoulmaster> On the other hand...Orión
managed to even get itself into minecraft a few times, which also
gave me the idea of try to implement many default interfaces for
the new AI.
L299[03:24:46]

<Thesoulmaster> While Orión had to
"mix" functions and internal loops to create new auxiliar
functions, i plan to add as many core functions inside the new one
so i can reduce the iterations. Also, the neural network seem to
have a really low response time: 100-400ms/step which usually turns
into a 4-6 seconds delay between input and output

L304[03:27:02]

<Thesoulmaster> For the new one? Yes, but
i can't upload the compiled neural network and it's
outdated by a lot
L305[03:27:02]

<Thesoulmaster> The old few data(from
years ago) is on a HDD sitting somewhere on the boxes around the

L312[03:32:32]

<Spider

mode lol
L313[03:32:57] <Izzy> never heard of this
tab stacks
L314[03:33:01]

<Spider
EveryOS> I do have plans for something like that, but it's
long off because I'm focused on the rendering engine first and
foremost
L316[03:33:05]

<Thesoulmaster> Look useful to make some
classifications
L317[03:33:15]

<Thesoulmaster> Ideal for people who open
hundreds of tabs
L318[03:33:27] <Izzy> oh I see, you can
group them in one tab
L319[03:33:44] <Corded> > <Izzy>

L321[03:35:06] <Izzy> when TST was a
firefox extension rather than a chrome extension it had a mode
where it would appear over your web view
L322[03:35:17]

<Spider
EveryOS> Something I was also thinking of was full
customizability with Lua (similar to what AwesomeWM does)
L323[03:35:29] <Izzy> but since then
you've had to do userChrome.css hacks and they broke with the
latest update

it'll play in proton or if it'll have a native linux
port
L430[16:47:56] <Amanda> You know what,
MichiBot, I probably shouldn't be using my laptop for games
while doing a dd_rescue of a potentially-dead hdd
L431[16:48:13] <Amanda> so steamdeck it
is
L432[16:59:18]

<Flameingsoul> Proton is how I got SE
working but even then it did not like me
L433[17:20:31]

<Forecaster> It's definitely not
going to be creative only
L434[17:20:34]

<Forecaster> Why would it
L435[17:21:40]
