L8[00:42:34] <stephan48> ah

L12[00:43:12] <MichiBot> walksanator's new

gained 0.00376 (0.00047 x 8) tonk points for stealing the tonk.

L13[00:43:13] <stephan48> we use it at work

L14[00:43:38] <Amanda> Would be nice if
ansible galaxy role updating worked again, that's what I was going
to check
L15[00:44:34] <stephan48> we mostly just
use it for terrorform(it even picks up changes in modules in our
private github org), docker and github actions.
L16[00:45:04] <stephan48> wanna fiddle with
it to actually detect and manage an image reference which is stuck
inside a terraform variable
L17[00:48:35] <Amanda> Oh that's pretty
easy, with the regex matcher
L18[00:48:43] <Amanda> I have that going
for my nomad, and my ansible
L19[00:49:10] <Amanda> an ansible variable

"woodpecker_agent_image:
"woodpeckerci/woodpecker-agent:v1.0" #

L21[00:50:40] <Amanda> That's done with the
following regexMatcher rule:

L46[04:09:17] <Hawk777> I have no idea what
“magic HTTP access” means. If this is in respect to OC-Wasm, well,
AFAIK the Internet card should work the same way it does in the Lua
architecture, exposing the same component methods.
L47[04:21:23] <Izzy> @LavaHoleD your server

L76[04:50:41]
<walksanator> until then I am going to

L77[04:50:58] <Izzy> looks like it's all on
their github stuff now
L78[04:51:01]
<walksanator> I even compiled SAM to wasm
just so i could then convert it to kotlin to run in MC without any

L79[04:51:08] <Izzy> but dectalk is
sweet
L80[04:51:22]
<walksanator> (I am trying the same with
dectalk since they now have emscripten builds)
L81[04:53:06] <Izzy> support for dectalk

L82[04:53:51]
<walksanator> eh... probally would be
faster to use the WASM build then the native hardware tbh
L83[04:55:15] <Izzy> almost certainly, but
would it be funnier?
L85[04:56:18]
<walksanator> eh... i mean if you are
willing to hook a dectalk unit up to your minecraft server... I
guess...
L86[04:56:24] <Izzy> imagine the octopus
it'd end up
L87[04:56:30]
<walksanator> (because the

<walksanator> also I *technically* have
fulll rights to play random PCM audio using the dectalk mod
L89[04:56:51] <Izzy> serial out, line in,
which would be recorded on the computer side and sent to
clients
L90[04:57:06]
<walksanator> just gotta... implement
stuff better
L91[04:57:08] <Izzy> how complicated are
the dectalk emulators?
L92[04:58:16]
<walksanator> I was going to paste the

out on the IRC side again?)
L94[04:58:52] <Izzy> I meant implementation
wise
L95[04:59:13]
<walksanator> I mean I tried clang on it
and it said "x feature was deprecated in C99"
L96[04:59:31] <Izzy> would be neat to have
speech synth in Lua, played back via computronics tapes
L98[05:00:29] <Izzy> that is a lot.

L133[09:18:25]
<LavaHoleD>

L134[09:19:23]
<LavaHoleD>
you can already somehow communicate to the discord using Minecraft
chat as we have a server bridge between minecraft and discord
L135[09:20:55]
<Kristopher38> Izzy: can't xmpp bridge to
discord?
L136[09:21:28]
<LavaHoleD>
let me check
L137[09:21:56] <Izzy> looks like there's
some projects to do it, but it's either on a channel to channel
basis like Corded here or requires an account anyway
L138[09:22:34] <Izzy> and in the latter
case, unmaintained, and likely violates the TOS
L139[09:24:01]

<Mimiru>
Sure if you want. It's a tiny Ubuntu VPS on OVH running
"pivpn" which is just wireguard but I'm lazy and didn't
want to configure it :P and my local VM is also Ubuntu running...
some form of wireguard.
L222[19:17:57]
<Forecaster> Probably electric wire
L223[19:38:22] <Liizzii> standard
wireguard is pretty easy to set up for a site to site esk setup
(which is sorta what yours is). from what i can tell pivpn uses the
kernel wireguard so you generally shouldn't have massively high
latency (or higher than a normal ping/transfer to the same IP over
normal internet)
L224[19:41:04] <Liizzii> idk what setup
pivpn does behind the scenes, so maybe it could have set a firewall
rule or something that caused slow traffic

<ComputerCoco> oi @LavaHoleD, are there
people actually playing on a 1.12 OC server?
L226[19:42:29]
<ComputerCoco> Ive always wanted to join
one but never found any active servers

<ComputerCoco> Heyya Izzy, you there? I
say you said you downloaded the SecondCraft pack from the prism
launcher? Did you download it externally, or from within the
app?
L247[20:22:25] <Izzy> add instance ->
technic -> search for it -> add instance
L248[20:25:25]
<ComputerCoco> Yup I did that
L249[20:25:26]
<ComputerCoco> But it keeps crashing at
around 48% of the download, with no error info or anything
L250[20:25:35]
<ComputerCoco> I tried updating to 8.0 but
that didn't help either
L251[20:25:43]
<ComputerCoco> Maybe theres something
wrong with my internet
L252[20:27:14] <Izzy> first time it hung
for me on a zip file
L253[20:28:03]
<ComputerCoco> I think it might be that
same zip file
L254[20:28:03]
<ComputerCoco> Cause when I downloaded it
from technic, it crashed on a zip file the first time I tried
L255[20:28:03]
<ComputerCoco> Maybe its calling a timeout
to fast

<Forecaster> %sip
L257[20:36:01] <MichiBot> You drink a
cloudy transparent potion (New!). It sounds like someone is
dragging a large metal axe along the floor nearby... Wait, now the
sound is gone...
L258[20:36:14]
<Forecaster> uh oh
L259[21:21:42] <Amanda> I'm sure that's
fine
L260[21:22:15] <Amanda> Not like someone
with an axe would %splash @Forecaster with mutable potion
L261[21:22:15] <MichiBot> You fling a
mutable pearlpeas potion (New!) that splashes onto @Forecaster.
@Forecaster turns into a frog until someone baps them.
L262[21:35:08]
<Forecaster> hey D:<
L263[21:36:01] <Amanda> Look on the bright
side, you no longer need to fear the axe murderer, instead now you
just have to fear the french
L264[21:36:09] <Amanda> Better watchou for
@AR2000
L265[21:36:37] <Amanda> ( Sorry )
L266[21:40:33] <Amanda> Now for the
million dollar question. I don't dare try and change my ingress
point when 12+h of travel away, do I dare update the server that
hosts the current ingress point.
L267[21:41:00] <Amanda> The answer is no,
so I hope that nothing is major zero-day in my nixos machine,
because I'm going to sit on the update until saturday or
sunday
L268[21:46:01] <Liizzii> as someone who
broke her home-to-server vpn whilst in another country from the
affected side: don't
L269[21:48:31] <Amanda> I'm currently in
Hawaii, two 6h flights away
L270[21:48:37] <Amanda> My homelab is in
PA, where I live
L271[22:13:41]
<Forecaster> you've asked that update
question a few days ago I think
L272[22:21:58] <Amanda> I was deciding if
I want to try and move the ingress point to a different VM then,
now I'm deciding if I want to update the VM hosting that ingress
point
L273[22:22:06] <Amanda> And I think the
answer's the same
L274[22:24:35]
<Forecaster> as it should be
