L129[18:27:45] <Forecaster> but when I measured on the contacts on the fan there was around 1V
L130[18:28:08] <Forecaster> and the contact seemed to have come off the board somehow, these things may be unrelated, it could be a board failure
L131[18:28:17] <dequbed> Did you check with the fan unplugged?
L132[18:28:59] <Forecaster> no
L133[18:29:54] <Forecaster> I'm going to check my old recordings to see if I can see when the fan starts, and possibly wait until I can get a new mSD card so I can get some gcode on it that doesn't actually print anything that I can use to test the fan with
L134[18:32:36] <Forecaster> if I can't figure it out I might just connect both fans to the working plug
L135[18:33:07] <Forecaster> it will cause both fans to always be on, but if I can't fix it that's better than no fan I guess
L136[18:37:11] <Forecaster> I should also point out that this is an Anet A8, a printer so cheap that for some users the power supply has caught fire

L193[21:25:41] <T-Dark> is that `/autorun.lua`?
L194[21:25:53] <Ocawesome101> ..... read what the bot said
L195[21:26:02] <T-Dark> Fair enough
L196[21:26:08] <Forecaster> hm, that shouldn't have triggered that
L197[21:26:13] <Forecaster> interesting
L198[21:26:21] <T-Dark> I was hoping to avoid the solution that requires a screen and a graphics card, but I guess those are cheap
L199[21:26:38] <Forecaster> .shrc doesn't need either of those?
L200[21:28:01] <T-Dark> How out of date is the wiki? <https://ocdoc.cil.li/tutorial:autorun_options>
L201[21:28:02] <T-Dark> >The last boot process to load is the OpenOS shell. The shell blocks until a tty output is available. This means that if there is no gpu or no screen, the shell startup will wait.
L202[21:28:06] <T-Dark> How out of date is the wiki? <https://ocdoc.cil.li/tutorial:autorun_options>
L203[21:28:07] <T-Dark> > The last boot process to load is the OpenOS shell. The shell blocks until a tty output is available. This means that if there is no gpu or no screen, the shell startup will wait. [Edited]
L204[21:28:17] <T-Dark> Is this thing just completely unreliable?
L205[21:29:03] <Ocawesome101> the other thing you could do is add your file as `/boot/99_whatever.lua`
L206[21:29:09] <Ocawesome101> then it'll get executed 100% of the time
L207[21:29:17] <MGR> It needs a 3rd 9 I believe
L208[21:29:22] <MGR> /boot/999_whatever
L209[21:29:28] <Ocawesome101> no
L210[21:29:43] <Ocawesome101> default only goes to 94
L211[21:29:47] <Forecaster> hm, that's probably accurate, I don't really create systems without gpus
L212[21:30:04] <MGR> Then I must have been working with 2 additional boot files, my bad
L213[21:30:15] <T-Dark> >Ocawesome101: the other thing you could do is add you…
L214[21:30:15] <T-Dark> Tried that, it created the file, it didn't do the loop. I'd guess it ran before all libraries were available
L215[21:30:24] <T-Dark> Oh well. /home/.shrc it is
L216[21:30:26] <T-Dark> easier that way
L217[21:33:00] <Ocawesome101> @T-Dark you can make it run on receiving the `init` signal actuall
L218[21:33:03] <Ocawesome101> + y

L221[21:49:36] <Michiyo> Corded sends the quoted message (Truncated) when someone quotes to give context to IRC users. The (truncated) message happened to include the command.

L224[21:56:40] <Ariri> Amanda, was it you that played Hackmud? If so, how is it compared to Hacknet?
L225[21:57:09] <Ariri> Debating between getting the labrynth dlc for hacknet and going thru that + workshop stuff or getting hackmud
L226[21:57:14] <Amanda> @Ariri very different. think of hackmud like a MMO in the genra of hacknet
L227[21:57:38] <Amanda> but it's very different, for one thing it's mostly (fake) terminal related, no graphical stuff
L228[21:57:50] <Ariri> I see
L229[21:58:02] <Amanda> If you join though, you should run `schongo.honeypot<tab>` surely nothing bad will happen.:D
L230[21:58:31] <Ariri> Surely >.>
L231[21:58:45] <Forecaster> you get free honey
L232[21:58:53] <Amanda> yes!
L233[21:59:04] <Amanda> You can check it's security levell first if you're paranoid.
L234[22:00:01] <Ariri> Someone owes me 20$ so I might get hackmud
L235[22:00:13] <Ariri> the gui was handy in hacknet but not necessary
L236[22:00:27] <Ariri> though i wish wildcards and pathing worked a bit better with autocompletion and such
L237[22:01:33] <Amanda> I wonder if I can launch steam games again, or if I'm going to have to boot up my gaming rig and use moonlight to update that honeypot script.
L238[22:10:45] <Amanda> looks like that's a no
L239[22:10:50] <Amanda> wonder what broke steam
L240[22:10:56] <Amanda> has it been behaving for you, Izaya??
L241[22:12:15] <Ocawesome101> steam works fine for me
L242[22:12:19] <Ocawesome101> (arch)
L243[22:12:40] <Amanda> Oh: Jul 17 18:09:58 ita sway[152556]: ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/amandac/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored.
L244[22:15:21] <bad_at_vijya> wack
L245[22:15:39] <Amanda> oh, guess it's not that, launching the game directly doesn't work either
L246[22:19:51] <Amanda> oh.
L247[22:19:59] <Amanda> SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 fixes hackmud,at least
L248[22:20:09] <Amanda> time to see where the hell I'm setting that to wayland, I guess

L254[22:46:06] <Amanda> `schongo.honeypot` is now FULLSEC (Totally safe)
L255[22:47:01] <Amanda> I took out the part that makes it message schongo when you "outsmart" it and show this instead, that made it "totally safe"
