L624[15:28:39]
<Forecaster>
there is a "serialize" library
L625[15:29:34] <MajGenRelativity>
yes
L626[15:30:30] <sshika> ok. have you got
an exemple of command serialize ?
L627[15:33:27] <MajGenRelativity> sshika,
serialize.serialize(a table)
L628[15:33:29] <MajGenRelativity> XD
L629[15:33:34] <sshika> ok. thanks
L630[15:33:37] <MajGenRelativity>
Unfortunately, I don't have real code to show you
L631[15:33:47] <MajGenRelativity> require
the library and feed it a table
L632[15:34:31]
<Forecaster>
the library's name is actually "serialization"
L633[15:34:48]
<Forecaster>
so require("serialization")
L634[15:37:23] <MajGenRelativity> Vexatos,
more accurate radars pls
L635[15:37:47] <Vexatos> they have perfect
accuracy
L636[15:38:11] <MajGenRelativity> sorry,
let me clarify
L637[15:38:15] <MajGenRelativity> Vexatos,
more precise radar
L638[15:38:26] <Vexatos> there is a config
option to make it cheatry
L639[15:38:32] <Vexatos> isn't that
enough
L640[15:38:46] <MajGenRelativity> no
L641[15:38:51] <MajGenRelativity> I want
decimal points of a block
L642[15:38:58] <MajGenRelativity> 1 would
probably work well enough
L643[15:38:58] <Vexatos> ?
L644[15:39:06]
<Mimiru>
Someone should find stock firmware for the sch-i200pp for me...
recovery too
L645[15:39:20] <MajGenRelativity> The
radar says MajGenRelativity is 1 block away on the X, and -3 blocks
on the Z
L646[15:39:32] <Vexatos> the radar
doesn't
L647[15:39:35] <Vexatos> your program
does
L648[15:40:06] <MajGenRelativity> Vexatos,
if I do targets = radar.getPlayers(), and then
targets[1]["x"], it will report an integer
L649[15:40:08] <Vexatos> oh wait no
L650[15:40:09] <Vexatos> right
L651[15:40:10] <MajGenRelativity> never a
decimal number
L652[15:40:20] <Vexatos> well year
L653[15:40:24] <Vexatos> yeah*
L654[15:40:28] <Vexatos> that's what
"distance" is for
L655[15:40:28] <Vexatos> :>
L656[15:40:30] <MajGenRelativity> I want
it to measure the X, Y, Z offsets with a decimal precision
L657[15:40:45] <Vexatos> if you want to be
more precise, you can just use three radars :>
L658[15:41:06] <MajGenRelativity> Vexatos,
but that requires me to learn how to control more than one of the
same component type XD
L659[15:41:18] <MajGenRelativity> Fix one
problem, create more :P
L660[15:42:02]
<SpaceWolfve> ^way of live
L661[15:43:01] <jhagrid77> Can't you
require by component address or UUID? If so something like
"local radar1 = require("stuff") local radar2"
etc... would work, wouldn't it?
L662[15:43:31] <MajGenRelativity>
jhagrid77, probably yes
L663[15:43:42] <MajGenRelativity> I'm just
sort of lazy and still want decimal precision XD
L664[15:43:56] <MajGenRelativity> even 1
decimal would be enough, as precision would increase to 10 times
its former level
L665[15:44:43] <jhagrid77> If you can get
a screenshot of components then I can make that into a file and
send it back to you if you'd like.
L666[15:44:51] <jhagrid77> Ah.
L668[15:46:25]
<Mimiru>
well.. no you don't require anything for that other than component
then you just radar1=component.proxy(component.get("short
uuid")) radar2 = component.proxy(component.get(short uuid2))
etc
L670[15:47:03]
<Mimiru>
That's the steller and what got me into this issue in the first
place.

L673[15:47:51] <jhagrid77> -_- thought it

L674[15:51:25]
<Mimiru>
yeah same issue I had.. and I wasn't paying attention then
L675[15:51:32]
<Mimiru> and
now.. I sit here with a bricked phone
L677[15:52:43] <MajGenRelativity> This
breaks on the very first line
L678[15:53:09] <MajGenRelativity> It's
embedded inside a function with an end statement
L679[15:53:19] <MajGenRelativity> and no
other if's while's etc
L680[15:54:03] <jhagrid77> Mimiru, it
would appear that no one was ever smart enough to back up the Stock
nor Recovery Firmware -_-
L681[15:54:26] <jhagrid77> Perhaps you
could do some searching for related Firmware that might work?
L682[15:55:02] <MajGenRelativity> it says
"attempt to compare nil with number"
L683[15:55:43] <MajGenRelativity> figured

L833[23:34:26] <suprphrk> is there an
updated wiki that shows things like the new rack UI meanings?
L834[23:35:09] <suprphrk> also - how the
heck do i pick up a drone? i forgot to combine it with an
eeprom
L835[23:41:59] <Kodos> You can sneak right
click with a scrench
L836[23:42:21] <Kodos> Someone will have
to explain the rack, as I am on mobile.
L837[23:47:30] <suprphrk> any
wrench?
L838[23:48:00] <suprphrk> i'm using the
ender io wrench, it's not liking my sneak-right-click
L839[23:49:45] <suprphrk> also - thanks :)
i get the first line being the side the server's connected to. and
the internal/external being enabled/disabled now. just don't know
what that second line per server is for. assume it's so that a
server can have multiple sides
L840[23:53:41] <suprphrk> tried rftools
wrench also - no joy
L841[23:54:28] <Kodos> Supr,
"Scrench" is an OC item
L842[23:54:40] <Kodos> Also, the servers
get additional lines per network card
L843[23:54:55] <Kodos> That's so you can
have each network card separated by side, or connected
L844[23:55:07] <Kodos> I do this to use
servers as a firewall of sorts
L845[23:55:40] <suprphrk> i see the
scrench now. my bad. missed that in JEI. thanks
L846[23:55:51] <suprphrk> AAAH, i get it.
ok, i'll go tinker with that now. thanks a ton
L847[23:56:12] <Kodos> now if I could just
figure out this signals mod
L848[23:57:10] <suprphrk> hehe. i saw
dw20's vids on it, and it was getting me about 1/2 there till i
tried
L849[23:59:39] <Kodos> Oh, dire did a
video? Neat, I'll check that out, thanks
