L111[05:48:00] <mindstorm8191> so, I have
an idea on how to allow computers to count how many items are in a
chest: set up a BC gate on the pipe into the chest, detect items
travelling, and with the redstone signal, send it to the increment
side of a counter
L112[05:50:13] <mindstorm8191> on the zero
side of the counter, use a not gate. Then, the computer can detect
when there are items left to count. It can then send a signal to
the decrement side, each time it increments its stored quantity.
When it the counter hits zero, the computer has finished counting
all the new items
L113[05:52:13] <mindstorm8191> the only
problem is, I don't know how to organize all the signals into a way

world/openComputers
L881[21:04:16] <Ender> or some variant of
that
L882[21:04:45] <Luckdemon> really? i didnt
see any folder named openComputers or anything of the like in
there
L883[21:05:00] <Ender> have you put a
computer down yet/
L884[21:05:18] <Luckdemon> yes, and it has
a hard drive and i just spammed a few keys into a file and saved
it.

L887[21:08:35] <Ender> Luckdemon, ah, by
default OC only write on world save, if you're in single player try
pausing the game for a few secs and it should be there
L888[21:09:31] <Luckdemon> hah found it :p
thanks
L889[21:09:55] <Luckdemon> so if i work on
a program in a server, and it crashes before it can save, is the
program lost?
L890[21:10:53] <Ender> yes
L891[21:11:03] <Ender> mc server that
is
L892[21:11:40] <Luckdemon> alrighty,
thanks a lot!
L893[21:12:00] <Ender> you can set
bufferedFilesystems to false in the config and it will save when
the ingame computer does, it might go out of sync with the
computers state or something (look at the comment above that
option)

collection of A Records serving the same domain with different IPs.
Eg if you nslookup irc.pc-logix.com you should find 12 IPs
IIRC
L910[21:45:08] <Caitlyn> the TTL on that
domain is 30 seconds so theoretically every 30 seconds clients
should get the next IP from the list.
