L23[19:29:08] <Lyqyd> Okay, NBT Lists are a
little silly.
L24[19:29:27] <Lyqyd> If you want to grab a
list tag type out of a compound tag, the compound tag expects you
to already know what type of list it is.
L25[19:29:59] <Lyqyd> Which is fine and
dandy if you created the NBT data and just need to read it back,
but really really dumb if you want to create a utility to examine
NBT data.
L26[19:30:45] <Lyqyd> 'cause then you have
to guess what type it might be holding, and if you guess wrong, the
compound tag's get function will helpfully create a new empty tag
list for you.

L36[23:19:49] <Lyqyd> I found a workaround
for that, wherein I grab the raw tags and THEN process them. Ended
up working better anyway, so eh.
